About Us
Dobbie Engineers provide mechanical engineering studies, detailed design, site inspection and project management services. Much of our design work is for the major process industries (pulp & paper, dairy) or for the energy industries (coal, geothermal, hydro). The balance is equipment design (pressure vessels, piping and cranes), building services (hotels, hospitals) or investigations.
Jim Dobbie established Dobbie Engineers in 1990, and the firm has now been delivering results to New Zealand industries for over 20 years. We operate from offices in Rotorua and Auckland.
