In this position you will be working to design and detail mechanical equipment, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with existing manufacturing operations. The primary CAD packages are AutoCAD and Inventor. Being proficient in these packages is highly beneficially but having experience using other CAD packages could also be advantageous.

Our Rotorua office currently has an opening for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with 0-4 years experience to join our team.

Your workload will primarily be focused on detailed design and analysis, report writing, equipment selection including some project management relating to the design and construction of industrial plants.

You will possess

• Bachelor of mechanical or mechatronics engineering with 0 - 4 years relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Practical approach to design
• Keen to visit and work in industrial plants and construction sites
• Excellent communication skills.
• An ability to participate and perform as part of a design or project management team
• A desire to become a chartered professional engineer.
